11/1/2022 10:39:34 AM Tool Usage A safety perimeter of at least 3 feet is mandatory when working in co-activity (2+ workers) where one of the workers is using a hand tool (i.e., portable grinder, welding machine, saw, pole saw, chainsaw, hammer, sledgehammer, etc.), so as to avoid any exposure to lines of fire and while maintaining all PPE guidelines for each tool.

These monitors shall be configured for the following: Chlorine Dioxide <0.1 ppm; Carbon Monoxide <35 ppm; Combustible (lel) <10%; Hydrogen Sulfide <10 ppm; Oxygen 19.5 thru 23.5%. Contractors shall provide proof of calibration upon request.

1/27/2017 4:27:25 PM PPE Policy Updates - Side shields must be made into the frame of the prescription safety glasses to create a tight/safe fit. - Lime Kiln was added as having requirement for dust-resistant safety glasses or goggles (to help define "other dusty areas"). - High-visibility safety vest, shirt, or jacket is required to be worn in the woodyard at all times, whether walking through or working in the area. The high-visibility clothing shall be tight-fitting enough as to not cause issues with being caught on or in equipment and/or materials. - Electrical Hazard (EH) footwear compliant with ANSI standards is required for use by Electrical Personnel.

When the sign is in place, you are to wear cleats over your work boots at all times while outside on mill property -- from the parking lot in.
